MysticMag chats with Heloisa Stephan, a compassionate listener and helper since her youth in Brazil, growing up in a large family enriched by diverse religious experiences. This background fostered her open-mindedness and curiosity about life’s complexities. At 13, a transformative reading from an African elder sparked her lifelong journey into esoteric studies. While initially drawn to tarot, Heloisa ultimately found her calling in reading regular playing cards, focusing on practical guidance for everyday issues. After years of helping others, she recognized the need for deeper healing and trained in natural therapies, becoming a dedicated Alternative and Complementary Medicine Therapist and teacher.
1. Heloisa, can you share more about your journey into psychic and holistic therapies? What led you to transition from your corporate career to this spiritual path?
I began doing psychic card readings when I was around 16 or 17 while living in Germany. It became a way for me to connect with the people I was reading for. After learning some card reading techniques from an elderly woman, I started reading for family members, friends, and eventually friends of friends, developing my own system and style over time.
Later, I began working for a corporate firm, a role I stayed in until I left Germany to pursue Creative Writing at Leeds University in England…
During my time at university, I came across a small ad in a newspaper seeking a psychic reader for a large company. I applied, got the job, and worked as a psychic reader while continuing my studies. It was an incredible experience, giving me not only a world of knowledge but also immense joy.
After finishing my studies, I was offered a position as a psychic reader in a shop in Leeds city center. I still remember how wonderful that time was.
Unfortunately, after about two or three months, the shop closed down. With over 100 clients who wanted to continue seeing me, I decided to rent an office in town, which I maintained until the COVID-19 lockdown. Since then, I have been working exclusively from home and no longer partner with any other businesses.
After about three years of doing readings, I became frustrated that I couldn’t do more to help people beyond identifying their problems. That’s when I decided to study natural therapies. I started with Hypno-Psychotherapy, followed by Reiki, and later added therapies like Crystal Healing, EFT, and eventually developed the Infinity Method of Healing, which I created to further help my clients.
